Government National College, Sirsa presented research on declining student enrollment in AISHE Workshop of GJU on 25-02-2026

In a notable contribution to the one-day workshop on AISHE data quality and compliance, a faculty member from Government National College, Sirsa, presented a detailed statistical analysis of declining student enrollment trends. The workshop was organized by Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJU), Hisar, in collaboration with the AISHE State Unit, Haryana, on February 25, 2026.
The college was represented by Mrs. Saroj Vinayak of the Department of Computer Science, who presented a presentation under the guidance of Mr. Surinder Kumar, the college's NAAC coordinator and AISHE nodal officer.
Ms. Vinayak's presentation highlighted the gradual but steady decline in enrollment across several streams over the past three academic years: 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25, raising concerns about the long-term impact on the institution.
