PLACEMENT CELL
The Placement Cell of Govt. National College, Sirsa, as a dynamic team of six members, working towards maximising students' welfare and helping them to achieve their goals. At bottom, it serves as an interface between students and job opportunities. The cell has its own well stocked library of competitive books and has a "Placement Cell Corner" at college Library having around 1000 competitive books. The cell has seen outstanding success during the past many academic years and it has been striving to match the repute that the cell is distinguished for in this session also.
During campus placement drive organised by the cell, IOL Pharmaceutical and Chemicals Ltd selected 19 students for different jobs with annual package of 2.16 lacs to 3.00 lacs. Four students have joined Army while four students cleared UGC NET examinations. 53 students of different streams participated in 5 days Divisional Level Employability Training and Placement Fair from 11th to 15th November 2019 at Govt. College, Hisar and three students were selected for participation in "State level Startup Competition". Besides this three seminars in which Mr Narender Saini, Director Rural Employment Training Institute, Retired Manager PNB Sh. Hardyal Berri, Famous Motivational Guru Dr. Dinesh Nagpal and famous Career Counsellor Sh. R. C. Poonia have imparted valuable information to students regarding jobs, personality development and self employment.
