GNC Organizes Slogan Writing Competition on World Wetlands Day
Anshika, Tanush, and Avdeep Emerge as Winners in Slogan Writing Competition
On the occasion of World Wetlands Day, a slogan writing competition was organized at Government National College, Sirsa, under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Department of Environment and Climate Change. The college's Public Relations Officer, Prof. Ramesh Soni, stated that the main objective of this competition, organized under the able coordination of Dr. Savita Kinra, was to raise awareness about the wise use and conservation of wetlands.
Fourteen students from various classes participated in the competition and showcased their creativity and writing skills. The participants presented innovative and thought-provoking slogans highlighting the importance of wetlands and ecological balance.
The judging panel comprised Dr. Jeet Ram Sharma, Dr. Bablesh Jhorad, and Dr. Indira Jakhar. Anshika, Tanush Bansal, and Avdeep Singh secured the first, second, and third positions, respectively.
The winners were awarded cash prizes by the Acting Principal, Dr. Anita Madia. Lakshmi played a commendable role in the organization of this event.
