Farewell Ceremony Organized by the Music Department at GNC

Under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Shatrujeet Singh and the expert guidance of Prof. Seema Rani, Head of the Department of Music, a grand farewell ceremony was organized by all music students at Government National College, Sirsa, in honor of the final-year B.A. students. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer (Vandana) before Goddess Saraswati, performed by the Chief Guest—Vice-Principal Dr. Anita Madia—along with the staff members present. The students welcomed all the guests and faculty members by applying a *tilak* to their foreheads. Subsequently, various students presented performances involving vocal music, instrumental music, and dance. On this occasion, Prof. Ramesh Soni also delivered a captivating and enchanting performance through a melodious song. In her address, Vice-Principal Dr. Anita Madia congratulated the students on this beautiful event and extended her best wishes for their bright future. The stage proceedings during the program were skillfully anchored by Pushpa. The Head of the Department, Prof. Seema Rani, expressed her gratitude to the *Tabla* player, Karmaveer Kaushik, for inspiring the students to organize this beautiful event and for uniting them in a cohesive spirit. On this occasion, the students honored the guests and faculty members present by presenting them with gifts, and also presented a commemorative gift to the department.
