Women's health and awareness program organized at National College

Under the able guidance of Acting Principal Dr. Anita Madia, the Women's Cell of the Government National College successfully organized a health awareness program, "Menstrual Hygiene and Reproductive Health and the Challenges of Modern Lifestyle." The college's Public Relations Officer, Professor Ramesh Soni, stated that the program's purpose was to educate students on essential information related to women's health and to foster health awareness among them.
Renowned gynecologist Dr. Anjali Narang was the keynote speaker at the program. Addressing the students, she elaborated on the importance of maintaining hygiene during menstruation, eating a balanced and nutritious diet, exercising regularly, and maintaining good mental health. She explained that modern lifestyles, stress, and irregular routines are leading to numerous health problems, and correct information and timely medical advice are essential for prevention. She encouraged students to seek expert advice rather than hiding any health issues.
Women's Cell Incharge Dr. Meet also addressed the students, sharing her views on the social and personal aspects of women's health. She said that it is extremely important for today's young generation to be health conscious, as healthy women are the foundation of a strong society.
In her inspiring address, Acting Principal Dr. Anita Madia said that the college will continue to organize such programs from time to time to ensure the all-round development of the students. Expressing gratitude to the keynote speaker, she encouraged the students to incorporate the information they received into their lives.
At the end of the program, the Women's Cell honored the keynote speaker with a memento. Dr. Karamjit Kaur, Rajdeep Kaur, Paramjit Kaur, Geeta, Meenakshi, Shobha, Saroj Bala, Neeru Bala, Nisha, Bablesh, Sakshi Mehta, Seema Rani, Meenu Rani, Priyanka, Deepawali Devi, Poonam Sethi, Sarita, and a large number of students were present. The program was a success and informative.
