Central Communication Bureau organised a special programme at Government National College, Sirsa

Special Program Organized to Create Awareness on Central Government's Public Welfare Schemes The Central Communications Bureau, Hisar, the regional office of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, successfully organized a special awareness program on various ambitious Central Government schemes. The primary objective of this program was to educate students and the general public about schemes such as "Developed India - Ji Ram Ji," "Jan Dhan Yojana," "Mudra Yojana," and "Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana" and connect them with the mainstream. Dr. Anita Maria, Principal of Government National College, Sirsa, was the chief guest. She stated that knowledge of government schemes is the foundation of empowerment. Youth need to take advantage of these schemes to become self-reliant and contribute to nation-building. Special guest Dr. Sanjeev Garg, Chief District Manager (LDM), Sirsa, explained the intricacies of the Central Government's banking schemes. He explained that the primary objective of the Jan Dhan, Mudra, Atal Pension, and Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojanas is to provide financial security to every citizen and open up opportunities for self-employment without any hindrance. Additionally, they shared important information about being vigilant against banking cyber fraud. Mrs. Harsh Bala, Program Officer, Vikasit Bharat Ji Ram Ji, Sirsa, provided detailed information about the Vikasit Bharat Ji Ram Ji scheme and highlighted the government's efforts to develop rural areas. She explained how the government is striving to bring development to the last person by improving rural infrastructure. During the program, the cultural team from the Central Bureau of Communications presented cultural performances through songs, dramas, and dances to highlight the importance of the schemes. Verbal quiz, poster painting, and speech competitions were held during the program, with the winning students and other participating students receiving prizes as incentives. College professor Dr. Sakshi Mahata played a key role in the program's management. The entire program was successfully executed by Neeraj Mahalawat, Nodal Officer of the Central Bureau of Communications, Hisar, and his team. She expressed gratitude to the college administration and students for their cooperation.
