National College Students Deliver Outstanding Performance at Literary Festival ‘Kalarav’

Students from Government National College delivered a stellar performance at ‘Kalrav: The Literary Festival’—a two-day literary fest organized by the Department of English and Foreign Languages ​​at Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa—securing a total of eight awards. The college's Public Relations Officer, Prof. Ramesh Soni, stated that the credit for this historic success of the students goes to the expert guidance, inspiration, and unwavering support of Dr. Smriti Kamboj, Convener of the college's Cultural and Co-curricular Activities Committee, and Dr. Manju Mehta, In-charge of the Theatre Club. In the various competitions, Lakshita (B.A. Final Year), Jeet Singh (B.Com. First Year), and Harshdeep (B.A. Final Year) secured the first position. In the Rangoli competition, the team comprising Tanush, Tamsa, and Anshika clinched the second position, while Lakshita secured the second position in Slogan Writing. Himanshi (B.A. First Year), Vipreet (B.A. Second Year), and Bindu (B.Sc. First Year) secured the third position in various competitions. Upon their return to the college, all the winners and participants were accorded a grand welcome. Congratulating the students wholeheartedly on this remarkable achievement, the college Principal, Dr. Shatrujeet Singh, and Vice-Principal, Dr. Anita Madia, extended their best wishes for their bright future. Addressing the students, Principal Dr. Shatrujeet Singh remarked that participation in various competitions—alongside academic pursuits—plays a pivotal role in the holistic development of a student's personality.
