A one-day workshop on "Creative Writing" was successfully organized at Government National College, Sirsa, under the joint auspices of the Hindi Subject Council and the Women's Cell, under the guidance of Acting Principal Dr. Anita Madia. College Public Relations Officer Prof. Ramesh Soni stated that the keynote speaker was Dr. Meet, in-charge of the Women's Cell. Addressing the students, she explained the important principles of creative writing. She stated that humans are intellectual and thoughtful creatures who can utilize their imagination to perform various creative tasks, writing being one of them. To effectively express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through their imagination, a sensitive mind, empathetic language, and a positive outlook are essential. Creative writing topics abound in our surroundings, which we can carefully consider through images, symbols, and metaphors. She encouraged students to cultivate the habit of regular study, consistent practice, and original thinking.
Deepawali, Priyanka, Meenu, Saroj Bala, Amandeep Kaur, Ramesh Kumar, Neeru Bala, and Nisha attended this workshop.
Participating as Principal, Dr. Anita Madia explained that literature is not only a mirror of society but also a re-creation of our own personal sensibilities, imaginations, and structures. She encouraged students to actively participate in such workshops and expressed the college administration's commitment to organizing similar educational activities in the future.
