GNC students visited the Government Fish Seed Center, Otu.

Under the banner of the Zoology Subject Council, final-year BSc students of Government National College, Sirsa, under the able leadership of Department Head Dr. Vivek Goyal, Professor Ramesh Soni, and Professor Manisha Rani, conducted an educational tour to the Government Fish Seed Center in Otu, Rania. Ranjit Kumar and Rinku, Director and Patron of the Government Fish Seed Center, provided the students with technical information related to fish seed production and rearing. They provided detailed information on various types of ponds, their maintenance, and their uses. They also demonstrated various types of nets used to catch fish and their seeds and explained their usefulness. The students studied and observed the various stages of the fish life cycle and learned about the environmental impact on fish production and its control. Dr. Anita Maniya, Acting Principal of the college, explained the importance of educational tours and encouraged them to participate actively in such trips in the future. Professor Ramesh Soni, Public Relations Officer of the college, stated that the students thoroughly benefited from the tour and had a very enjoyable experience.
