REPORT ON AWARENESS LECTURE ON JOB OPPORTUNITIES AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Placement Cell, Government National College, Sirsa, organized an Awareness Lecture on “Job Opportunities and Entrepreneurship” on 9 September 2026 at 11:00 AM at Government National College, Sirsa. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Raman Soni, Director, De-Facto Institute, Sirsa, who was invited to guide and motivate students regarding various career and employment opportunities.
The main objective of the lecture was to create awareness among students about competitive examinations, government job opportunities, effective examination preparation, and career planning. The session also aimed to encourage students to adopt a focused and systematic approach towards their career goals.
Participation
A total of 63 students actively participated in the lecture. The students showed keen interest throughout the session and interacted with the resource person to gain a better understanding of various competitive examinations and career opportunities.

The programme was conducted under the guidance and coordination of Dr. Vivek Goyal, In-charge, Placement Cell. The Placement Cell members, Ms. Manju Mehta, Mr. Amandeep, and Ms. Saroj Rani, actively supported the organization and smooth conduct of the lecture.
