Low HB level can cause many physical and psychological problems. It can create problems during pregnancy and lead to irregular menstrual cycle. She told the students that they can improve their HB level by incorporating easily available food things such as green vegetables, pumpkin seed, dates, jaggery etc. She also discussed the adverse effects of the non- biodegradable menstrual pads. These sanitary napkins are not only a big source of environmental pollutions but are also not a healthy alternative. She asked them to use reusable pads that can be washed and reused. She also highlighted the ill effects of microplastics on our health. She informed them about eco-friendly alternatives, and encouraged them to make informed choices that promote personal well-being, and environmental sustainability.
