REPORT OF SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION
The Placement Cell, Government National College, Sirsa organized a Slogan Writing Competition on the occasion of Entrepreneurship Day on 10 September 2026 in Room No. 138. The competition was organized with the objective of promoting entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, innovation, and self-employment among students.
The theme of the competition, “Be a Job Creator, Not a Job Seeker,” encouraged students to think beyond conventional employment and explore entrepreneurship as a means of creating opportunities not only for themselves but also for others. Students enthusiastically participated and expressed their ideas through creative, meaningful, and inspiring slogans.
A total of 21 students participated in the competition. The participants presented beautiful and thought-provoking slogans, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, skill development, and employment generation. The activity provided students with an opportunity to creatively express their understanding of entrepreneurship and its role in building a self-reliant society.
The entries were judged by Dr. Surekha and Mr. Ramesh Soni, who evaluated the slogans on the basis of originality, creativity, relevance to the theme, clarity of expression, and overall impact.

The competition was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Goyal, In-charge, Placement Cell. The members of the Placement Cell, Ms. Manju Mehta, Mr. Amandeep, and Ms. Saroj Rani, actively contributed to the planning, coordination, and successful execution of the event.
The Slogan Writing Competition was a meaningful and engaging activity that successfully promoted the spirit of entrepreneurship and self-employment among students. The enthusiastic participation of students demonstrated their growing interest in innovative ideas and entrepreneurial opportunities. The event reinforced the message that young people can become job creators rather than merely job seekers, thereby contributing to economic growth, employment generation, and nation-building.
The Placement Cell looks forward to organizing more such skill-oriented, career-focused, and entrepreneurship-related activities to empower students and prepare them for the evolving world of work.
