National College Celebrates National Service Scheme Day
Today on dated 24/09/2025 Government National College, Sirsa, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Day was celebrated under the chairmanship of Principal Professor Harjinder Singh and the able coordination of NSS Convener Dr. Jeet Ram Sharma. A massive cleanliness drive in the college premises, followed by a plantation drive. NSS volunteers actively participated in the event.
Addressing the volunteers, Principal Professor Harjinder Singh emphasized the importance of not only planting more trees but also caring for and protecting them.NSS Convener Dr. Jeet Ram Sharma highlighted the significance of environmental conservation and administered an oath to the volunteers, encouraging them to work with dedication and a service-oriented mindset.
The occasion was attended by Dr. Indira Jakhar, Dr. Bablesh, Professor Ramesh Soni, and Shri Karmveer Kaushik.
