GNC Sirsa Hosts Live Telecast of Gen-H Yuva Udyami Chaupal Sirsa, August 21, 2026 Government National College (GNC), Sirsa, organised a live telecast of the Gen-H Startup Summit–Yuva Udyami Chaupal, addressed by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, at Gurugram University. More than 200 students of the college attended the programme with keen interest and enthusiasm. The programme focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, new-age technology and employment generation, encouraging young people to move beyond the conventional mindset of seeking salaried employment and instead become job creators and entrepreneurs. The Chief Minister emphasised that the coming era belongs to new technology, innovation and fresh ideas, and urged youth to convert innovative ideas into viable enterprises. During the interaction, the Chief Minister shared experiences from his own journey and highlighted the importance of hard work, perseverance, consistency and courage to face setbacks. He encouraged young people to pursue their dreams with determination and make the best use of emerging opportunities in entrepreneurship and technology. The Gen-H initiative also seeks to strengthen Haryana’s startup ecosystem by providing young innovators with opportunities for mentoring, training, technical support, networking and financial assistance. The programme included discussions on developing and scaling business ideas, raising funds and accessing technical support. A major attraction of the programme was the Yuva Udyami Yatra, which was flagged off to take the message of entrepreneurship to colleges, universities, ITIs, coaching institutes and other educational institutions across Haryana. Students of GNC Sirsa appreciated the opportunity to watch the interaction live and felt motivated by the Chief Minister’s message of transforming ideas into action. The programme provided an inspiring platform for students to understand the possibilities of startups, innovation and self-employment and encouraged them to think creatively about their future. The event at GNC Sirsa concluded with a renewed commitment to promote entrepreneurial thinking, innovation and self-reliance among students.
